To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

In Wednesday's issue, in an article about the student calendar Something Happening, Jerald R. Gerst States ". . . a calendar is something that the University needs, if only to list its own events."

In replay thereto. I should like to call the attention of your readers to the University's official calendar, the Harvard University Gazette, which has been in existence for sixty-four years. Published weekly during the academic year, it lists local events open to the public or to all members of the University, provided the events are sponsored by a University department or organization, or by a recognized students organization.

The Gazette is mailed weekly to subscribers at a nominal price. (Miss) Ruth M. Parker, Editor   Harvard University Gazette
