Cambridge police have not found a suspect in the bludgeon murder of 50-year-old widow Mrs. Ada C. Bean last Thursday.
The widow's body was found in the bedroom of her Linnean St. apartment after she failed to appear for work. Detectives speculate that the killer forced open the rear door to her apartment and surprised her after she had gone to sleep.
Yesterday Lieut. John Norton issued three slightly different drawings of the suspect, based on the description which three witnesses gave the police. Norton refused to specify where or when the witnesses saw the suspect.
All three descriptions state that the suspect is a slender man of light brown complexion, between 24 and 26 years old, 5' 10"-5' 11", and 150-160 pounds.
The three drawings of the murder suspect appear on page 5 of today's CRIMSON.
The drawings are being checked against all sex offenders in the Cambridge files, and against those arrested on breaking and entering charges.
