Crusader Co-Captains Flown to Sacramento

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Holy Cross co-captains Tom Lamb and Bill Monsevicz were on the sidelines last night when the Sacramento College football team donned the silver and purple Holy Cross jersies for their final season game against the University of Puget Sound.

Holy Cross was forced to cancel its last seven games this year when 75 players, four managers, seven coaches, the team trainer, and the school's sports information director contracted hepatitis in early October.

Sacrmento State decided to dedicate its season to the fallen Crusaders and to wear Holy Cross jersies in their last home game, so $604 was collected this week to fly Lamb and Mansevicz, now fully recovered, to Sacramento for the game.
