Harvard's freshman track team thrashed Dartmouth in Hanover last Saturday. 113-41--the same lopsided margin by which the Crimson varsity victimized the Indians.

Versatile Walter Johnson sparked the Yardlings' rout by placing first in both the long jump and 120-yard hurdles, second in the triple jump, and third in the high jump. He also anchored the winning 440 relay team.

Dave Pottetti set a new Harvard freshman record in the two-mile by churning around the track in 9:11.6. He held the old record of 9:12.2.

Weightman Ed Nosal scored victories in three events. He won the hammer throw with a 160'6" fling, the shot put with a 47'9 1/4" toss, and the discus with a 152' effort.

Robert Brocken won both the 100-and 220-yard dashes.

The freshmen, 3-0 for the dual-meet season, compete in the Greater Boston Championships here today.
