An eight-goal explosion in the second half propelled the freshman lacrosse team to a 9-4 win over previously unbeaten Brown yesterday.

Behind 2-1 at the half, Harvard's stickmen took a commanding lead on three goals by Cle Landolt and two apiece by Phil Zuckerman and Rick Frisbee.

Captain Bill Bennett and goalie John Cosentino limited the normally high-scoring opposition to only two second half tallies. Brown had been averaging close to 20 goals a game.

The freshmen take a 4-1 season record into their upcoming game Saturday, hosted by Holy Cross.
