Boston is a city in trouble.

The Bruins lost their playoff series in four straight games to Montreal, the Celtics are within one loss of elimination in the NBA's Eastern finals, and the rain gods conspired yesterday to keep the American League pennant flag off the Fenway Park flagpole.
