Voters in Lincoln, Mass. have passed by more than a two to one majority a referendum urging President Johnson to change his Vietnam policy.

The vote was 830 for the referendum and 323 against it.

The referendum asked for "an early resolution of our military involvement," without "further escalation or widening of the war."
