Harvard freshman Seott Allen, competing in the world figure skating championships in Geneva this week, occupies fourth place after the compulsory figures.

Allen has compiled 1083.1 points, only 10 behind third place Patrick Pera of France.

The two-time national champion still has a chance to surpass Pera tonight in the free skating competition, the deciding event in the championship.

Tim Wood, silver medal winner in the recent Winter Olympics, holds a slim lead over defending champion Emmerich Danzer of Austria in the battle for first place.
