History 142 is cancelled and will not be offered this term. Students who have enrolled in the course and who have already filed their study cards should obtain a petition from the Registrar's Office to drop this course and add another. Those who intended to take 142 who have not filed study cards will be given an extension to file them until 5 p.m. Monday, February 19.
The spring term lecturer for Soc. Sci. 1 will be H. Stuart Hughes, professor of History. Hughes taught the course during 1964-1965 when David E. Owen was on leave.
