Harvard placed six players on the official Coaches' All-Ivy Football Team. Yale had eight players on the 25-man squad.
Heading the Harvard contingent was captain Vic Gatto, a repeater from 1967's All-Ivy squad. Guard Tom Jones was one of three unanimous choices of the coaches. The other two were Yale stars Brian Dowling and Calvin Hill.
The Crimson's other All-Ivy representatives were linebacker John Emery, defensive back Pat Conway, defensive end Pete Hall, and punter Gary Singleterry, who tied with Cornell's Bill Arthur in the voting for the kicking position.
