Donald A. Orton, 50, president of Lesley College, has been married to the former Leslie Ellen Feuer, 20, a junior at Lesley.
The marriage, revealed in an announcement by the bride's parents circulated in Lesley dormitories yesterday, took place Nov. 18 in Las Vegas, Nev. The marriage was reported to the faculty and trustees of Lesley last Tuesday.
The bride, of Teaneck, N.J., was graduated from Teaneck High School. Mrs. Orton, a 5' 10" blonde, has withdrawn from Lesley College. According to other Lesley students she will probably continue her education at Boston University.
Dr. Orton, who has been the president of Lesley since 1960, was graduated from the University of Utah in 1942. He received an M.A. from Ohio State University, and a Ph.D. degree in Education from Harvard in 1948. He was a visiting professor of Education at Harvard from 1959 to 1960.
Dr. Orton was previously married to the former Iva Pixton on Oct. 10, 1942. The marriage ended in divorce.
Leslie Ellen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Feuer of Teaneck, N.J.
