The Harvard freshman swimming team amassed an uneventful 63-31 victory over Brown Tuesday at the IAB.

The Brown team was not strong, and the competition did not inspire an unusually outstanding showing. Although no new team records were set, some of the members of the squad did break personal records.

Guy Huff won the 200-yard freestyle competition and Dan Kobick placed first in the 200-yard individual medley. Both these men, as well as Dave Law and Peter Mikhalevski, were members of the winning 400-yard free relay team.

Paul Horvitz won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.9 seconds. Dave Silver placed first in Diving, Bob Taylor first in the 200-yard butterfly race, and Phil Johnson first in the 500-yard freestyle.

Captain Al Ackerman was unable to compete because of the flu.
