J.V. Booters Go For 6th Victory

The Crimson J.V. soccer team will attempt to extend its winning streak to six games at the expense of the Tigers in Princeton today, but it should be a close game.

The Crimson booters have been plagued with injuries in the past week. Starting fullback Andy Abbott bruised a bone in his hip when he fell during pre-practice horseplay and will not make the trip.

Coach Seamus Malin expects to start Ron McClain and Eddie Atwood at full-back. Jim Fitzgerald, who didn't play as a freshman last year, is a potential substitute.

In addition, starting left halfback Steve Klein sustained a minor eye injury this week and is a doubtful starter.

The J.V. booters are 5-1, with their only loss to Southern Massachusetts Technological Institute in the first game of the season.

Malin is satisfied with the team's performance so far this year, and considers the game against Brown one of the best in his coaching career. But the Tigers are an unusually strong, physically tough team.
