DOJ Sues Boston and Mayor Michelle Wu ’07 Over Sanctuary City Policy
CHICAGO--The Order of Paul Revere Patriots has welcomed its newest member--Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley--who can now enjoy privileges denied to lesser citizens of the Commonwealth.
Daley, who this week received a membership scroll signed by Gov. John A. Volpe and Secretary of State John F. X. Davoren, is thus entitled to:
*Dump tea in Boston Harbor
*Graze his cows on the Common
*Coast down Bunker Hill (weather and traffic permitting)
*Exceed the speed limit (on horse-back) through every village and farm in Middlesex Country--which includes Cambridge--on April 19, Patriots' Day.
Being tapped for the semi-state-sponsored organization is deemed an honor comparable to receiving a commission in the Nebraska Navy or a nomination as a Cook Country poll-watcher.
