HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
The Harvard hockey team remained solidly in contention for second place in the Eastern Collegiate Conference Division I while taking two weeks off for exams. If the Crimson defeats Penn at Philadelphia Saturday and Boston College in the first round of the Beanpot Tournament Monday night, Harvard could find itself behind only Cornell.
Penn bounced back from an 18-1 Cornell obliteration and its forfeit at Yale to register its initial Ivy League success. 4-3 in overtime against Dartmouth last weekend. But the Quakers should still provide an easy warmup--perhaps too easy--for Harvard.
Third Match
Coach Cooney Weiland's skaters, who returned to the ice for practice two days ago, are pointing toward their third match of the year with B.C.
Harvard's ticket allotment for the B.C. game is sold out, but tickets remain for the Beanpot's second round the following Monday. Tickets for the first round are still available at the Boston Garden.
