Carl E. Sanders, former governor of Georgia, arrived here yesterday afternoon to become the last Honorary Associate of the Kennedy School's Institute of Politics.
Shortly after arriving, the Governor and Mrs. Sanders met with Dean Monro and several Faculty couples at the home of David Riesman, Henry Ford II Professor of Social Sciences, to discuss the future of Negro education.
Sanders, during his last two years as Governor, served as Chairman of the Southern Regional Education Board.
During his three-day visit, Sanders will be associated with Adams House. Today, he meets with the officers, fellows, and associates of the Institute. He will also talk with members of the Young Democrats and Southern Club of the College and Law School.
