Eliot House, last year's Straus Trophy winner, has taken a commanding lead in the race for the House Championship.
A preliminary tally shows Eliot leading second-place Kirkland by over 200 points. House fencing and volleyball have not been reported by the House secretaries yet, however.
Eliot more than doubled its fall lead by capturing the basketball "A" championship and the hockey title. Eliot also tied for first in swimming, but lost to Winthrop in a playoff.
Kirkland, Winthrop. and Dunster moved up to grab the next three spots. Winthrop jumping from sixth to third, tied Kirkland for the basketball "B" title.
Dunster dominated both the "A" and "B" squash leagues. Dunster's "A" League team, sweeping 13 matches, was only undefeated winter intramural team.
Both Leverett and Quincy, who were second and third respectively after the fall season, slipped three places. Leverett tied Eliot and Winthrop for the swimming title but lost in the playoff. Quincy lost a playoff to Eliot for the basketball "A" championship.
Lowell captured the boxing championship but it remained in seventh position. Adams and Dudley still dominate the celler.
