Just to thank its many listeners for making this year such a great success, radio station WRKO has instituted a "Christmas Wish" contest. All its many listeners have to do is mail in their wish and the station will try to fulfill it.
And so, just to thank its many graduate students in psychology who listen, WRKO has awarded a group of Harvard graduate students their own personal Christmas Wish--a year's subscription to the CRIMSON.
"If this was what they wanted, we thought they should have it," a spokesman for the station said. The students' wish was chosen from among 23,000 letters sent to the station this month in response to the promotion. Other local publications going out as gifts include a subscription to New England Teen Scene Magazine.
And so, just to thank its many readers for making this year such a great success, the CRIMSON has instituted its own promotion. It will cease publishing with this issue until January 4 of the new year. Now you can feel free to go home and catch up on your back issues of New England Teen Scene Magazine.
