Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
A group of Harvard students is organizing support at about 30 eastern colleges for a non-partisan referendum on the Vietnam war.
Questions on the referendum will cover all possible opinions on the war from extreme hawk to extreme dove.
"The referendum is not a sneaky attempt to get people to come out against the war," said M. Kimbrough Marshall '68-4, co-ordinator for the referendum.
Marshall hopes that the referendum "will stand out from all other polls and petitions" because of its non-partisan nature and lack of connection with any political group.
Marshall expects the referendum to be held on Nov. 16 and 17.
