John D. Hanify '71 was elected president of the Freshman Council yesterday. Hanify, a representative of Wigglesworth E entry, won the tight election on a platform of extended parietals, increased contact between the Council and the students and a lecture series for freshmen. Also elected were Frank D. Raines '71, as vice-president, and George E. Christodoulo '71, as secretary-treasurer.
