'Cliffe Skippers Sail to Triumph

Radcliffe skippers Jane Chalmers and Martha Fransson chalked up 56 points last Saturday to win the Jackson College Fall Regatta by 12 points over runner-up Jackson. Hope McCurdy and Nancy Kleckner crewed for the interclub dinghies which were buffeted by winds gusting up to 18 knots.

Team captain Chalmers was high-point skipper in the regatta, gaining first in four of her five races. The girls sailed a triangular course plus a final windward leg in day-long competition.

Emerson College, Boston University, and Nasson College were the also saileds.
