The Leverett House football team crushed Eliot 14-0 yesterday for its second straight victory of the young season.

The Bunny backs repeatedly ripped through the Eliot line for five and ten yard gains. While their defense bottled up the Elephant's passing game.

Leverett scored first in the second quarter. Chris Mortenson's burst into the endzone from the 1-yard line capped a 55 yard march by the Bunnies. Pete Karegeannes added the extra points on an end run to give Leverett an 8-0 half-time lead.

A 70 yard march by the Bunnies took up the entire third period. In the opening moments of the fourth quarter. Phil Smith ran off tackle for the final ten yards to complete the scoring.

Eliot was unable to retaliate with any kind of a march. Karegeannes and Ed McCrea led the way for the Bunnies, each picking off a Bill Cherry pass.

In the only other action, Quincy also won its second straight, defeating Dudley 6-0. A quick, hard defense made Joe Tibbett's touchdown stand up for the Orangemen.
