This year's Faculty Prize for the best Harvard University Press book written by a Faculty member has been given to Don K. Price, Jr. Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration.
Price was cited for The Scientific Estate, a theoretical and historical analysis of the relation of science and scientists to politics and government.
Honorable mention went to Daniel H. H. Ingalls, Wales Professor of Sanskirt, for An Anthology of Sanskrit Court Poetry. An anonymous gift established the prize in 1955-56.
