Harriman to Get Degree

W. Averill Harriman will speak at Commencement and receive an honorary degree, it was reliably reported from Washington yesterday. Harriman is currently President Johnson's roving Ambassador-at-large.

He becomes the second man announced for an honorary degree this year, Ferdiand E. Marcos, president of the Philippines, was reported last week as another recipient.
