The Boston College and Northeastern baseball teams have gone on to better things since they respectively shut out and were demolished by the Crimson in past weeks. Yesterday both teams were named to the district playoffs. The playoffs determine the New England representative in the College World Series.
The Eagle's impressive 12-3 record includes a 3- blanking of the Crimson back on April 19; the Huskies number a 14-2 loss to Harvard and a win over B.C. in their 16-6 mark.
The University of Massachusetts (20-5) will take on B.C. in Boston Tuesday and Colby (16-2-1) will play Northeastern. The two winners will meet the following day.
