Six varsity baseball players were picked by Boston coaches to the Greater Boston League All-Star team Tuesday.
Outfielder Dan Heotstain was named to the 18 man squad for the second year in a row. Hootstain, who batted .431 in league play, led an all-League outfield so powerful that league-leading hitter George Neville (.500) was named to the team as a utility player.
The other outfielders were Crimson captain John Dockery (.440) and Paul Dunphy (.435), the right fielder for Northeastern's league champions.
Bob Wels (.400) was named to the first-string infield, along with third-baseman Jim Wood (.341) of B.U. and Fran Riley (.400) and Tom Anderson (.290) of B.C.
Catcher Joe O'Donnell (.154) was one of two receivers named to the team. The other Harvard players chosen were utility men Neville and Neil Houston, who hit .346 as the Crimson's second baseman.
Pitcher Jim McCandish received honorable mention.
