Juniors Neville Hayes and Bob Corris have been named to the 1966 All America Intercollegiate Swimming Team
Corris set a Harvard record with a 2:14.5 in the 200-yard breaststroke this past season Hayes' 1:57.6 in the 200-yard butterfly carried Lim an All America spot.
The Harvard 800-yard freestyle relay team of sophomers Phil Chase, Bill Shrout, and Pete Adams along with Captain elect Jim Seubold, also nailed down All-America laurels During the past winter the relay team broke a Crimson record with a time of 7:15.4.
Senior Bruce Fowler missed All-America honors on a technicality. Fowler's time of 2:15.2 put him well under the necessary time for All-America consideration, but he did not compete in the NCAA championships -- from which the Ivy League teams have been banned.
The selectors gave precedence to performers in the NCAA meet, and although Fowler's times were comparable, he was not selected.
