Lacrosse Team Bows to Brown

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Brown's lacrosse team took another step on its way to the Ivy League title by drubbing Harvard, 14-5, at Providence yesterday.

The Bruins, who have knocked off all four of their Ivy opponents this spring, probably could have run the total up to twenty if rain hadn't muddled the field. They started out by plastering the outclassed Crimson 6-1 in the first period and were never headed.

The savage body-blocking and fast passes of the Bruin offense wore down the Harvard defense which couldn't clear the ball from its own end all day.

Harvard's offense played its usual game, plenty of passing and no shots in the net. Even high-scoring Larry Palmer couldn't buy a goal.
