Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
The Boston Rugby Club downed Harvard on Saturday, 11-6, in a contest influenced by a strong wind.
With their backs to the wind, the Boston ruggers ran up 11 points in the first half, while Harvard was held scoreless.
In the second half the wind reversed the advantage in favor of the Crimson. Harvard rallied for six points on two tries by freshman Sione Tupouniua, but muffed both the extra-point place-kicks.
Injuries to starting players hurt the Crimson's chances against the Boston club. Back Parker Wise and Lloyd Macdonald both were out with inflamed knees. Wing-forward Dan Gleason and Captain Quent Spector were also sidelined from the game.
All except Macdonald, who is out for the season, should be healthy for today's match at home against M.I.T.
