The Harvard Undergraduate Bridge Club will sponsor the Eastern Inter-collegiate Bridge Tournament this weekend at M.I.T.'s Stratton Building.
Last year's champs, Cornelius Marx '65 and Roger Cohen '65, both now in Harvard graduate schools, will be defending their open-pairs title Saturday in a two-session event.
The open-team competition Sunday will also consist of two sessions. A four-man Harvard squad will be defending its title, but Columbia and the University of Texas loom as strong challengers.
Peter Winkler '68, undergraduate director of the Harvard Bridge Club, said that teams from 15 colleges have entered the open tournament thus far.
