Harvard's Keith Sedlacek, this year's high-scoring forward on the Crimson basketball team, has been selected to the 1966 Eastern College Athletic Conference all-star squad.
Point totals, based on five points for a selection and three for a nomination, determine the 15 ECAC selections. Sedlacek earned 44 points, three more than his nearest ECAC rival for a forward position, Stan Pawiak.
Dave Bing of Syracuse and Jim Walker of Providence were the only repeaters from last year's squad. The top point-getter was Villanova guard Bill Melchionni, with 57 points. Sedlacek had the fourth highest total.
The 1966 ECAC squad includes:
FORWARDS--Keith Sedlacek, Harvard; Stan Pawiak, Penn; Dave Brown, Lafayette; Carver Clinton, Penn State; Cliff Anderson, St. Joseph's; John Rodgers, Bucknell.
CENTERS--Sonny Dove, St. John's; Willie Wolters, Boston College; Jim Williams, Temple.
GUARDS--Bill Melchionni, Villanova; Dave Bing, Syracuse; Hubie Marshall, LaSalle; Bob Lloyd, Rutgers; Jim Walker, Providence; Mal Graham, N.Y.U.
