The wrestling team has elected Ed Franquemont '67 captain of next year's squad.
Franquemont, a native of Roslyn Heights, N.Y., will succeed Tom Gilmore as captain. The new team leader, who wrestles in the 152-pound class, placed third in his neight division last year in the Eastern Intercollegiate Tournament.
During the 1966 season, Franquemont compiled a 9-1 record, losing only to Rutgers clsoe after midyear exams.
Captain of the freshman team two years ago, he placed third in the Freshman Easterns at Army. As a sophomore, Franquemont notched an 8-1-1 record, scoring 28 points.
