Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Harvard's high-scoring guard, Keith Sedlacek, came only one vote short of a unanimous selection to the coaches' 1966 All-Ivy Basketball Team.
Sedlacek's 13 points were surpassed only by Penn's hot-shot guards, Jeff Newman and Stan Pawlak, who received the unanimous 14 points.
Rounding out the first team are Columbia sophomore Dave Newmark (12 points), Cornell senior Bob Deluca (10), and Columbia senior Stan Felsinger (10). Due to a tie in the balloting, a six-man unit was chosen by the league mentors.
Pawlak and Neuman have now been named to the honor team three times. Deluca was a first-team choice last year.
The second team consists of Cornell senior Steve Cram, Princeton junior Ed Hummer, Penn senior Chuck Fitzgerald, Cornell senior Garry Munson, and Princeton junior Fary Walters. Harvard junior Gene Dressler was an honorable mention.
