'Bride' Magazine Says Bobby Leo Is Most Eligible

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Bride magazine, the irrepressible friend of would-be newlyweds, has chosen our own Bobby Leo as one of the country's six most eligible bachelors.

Harvard's All-Ivy halfback was chosen because "he represents the Ivy League image," one of the magazine's editors said yesterday.

Leo will join a diverse company of young men on the make, including: Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits; Raphael Martinez of Mayor Lindsay's staff in York; David Hedison, star of TV's "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea;" pianist Mischa Dichter; and Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary.

Happy Thanksgiving

The Crimson's top ground-gainer journeyed to New York during Thanksgiving vacation to pose for a picture with his "ideal bride," who was wearing what an ideal bride should wear.

Leo told the editors he was looking for a girl with a kind of quiet, reserved beauty, collegiate style, and an extroverted, but introspective personality.

"I really think the whole thing is pretty funny," said the five ft. eleven inch, 176 lb. senior.

The story will run in the March 10 issue of the magazine.
