Bieberman Sentenced For Shipment of LSD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Lisa Bieberman '63, 24-year-old psychedelic drug devotee, was given a year's suspended jail sentence yesterday for shipping LSD to Kansas and California.

In passing sentence, U.S. District Court Judge Francis J. W. Ford told Miss Bieberman, "A girl with a brilliant career ahead of her such as you is on the wrong track. If I were you I would disassociate myself from Dr. Leary's group and think for myself."

Miss Bieberman is studying for her doctorate at Brandeis. She operates the Psychedelic Information Center from her Boylston St. apartment.
