Michael P. Shea, 57, head caretaker at Lamont Library, died yesterday of a heart attack.
Shea worked for Little and Brown publishing company for 20 years before World War II. During the war he worked in Four Rivers shipyard. He owned a tavern for several years before he came to work for Harvard seven years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Church in Cambridge.
