The nomination of Michael Walzer as an associate professor of Government will be recommended to the Board of Overseers.
Walzer, presently an associate professor at Princeton, specializes in political theory.
Before going to Princeton four years ago, Walzer spent five years at Harvard, first as a graduate student in Government, and later as a section man in Government 1 and Social Sciences 2.
His first book. The Revolution of Saints, is required reading in Soc Sci 2. Walzer is currently working on a history of Continental political thought from the 16th to the 19th centuries.
