Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Lincoln Gordon, former professor at the Business School and Ambassador to Brazil, has been appointed Assistant Secretary of State for Inter-American Affairs. He will replace jack Hood Vaughn, the new director of the Peace Corps.
Gordon has been participating in a seminar this week on economic development and democracy at the Center for International Affairs. He was attending the seminar when the State Department called to notify him of his appointment.
Gordon taught at the Business School from 1946 to 1950, and again from 1955 to 1961 as William Ziegler Professor of International Economic Relations. He was one of the founders of the Center for International Affairs.
