Class of '40 May See JFK Film Next Month

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The 25th reunion of the Class of 1940 has applied for special permission from Congress to show "Years of Lightning, Day of Drums," the U.S. Information Agency's film on the life of President John F. Kennedy '40, next month.

Last Thursday the House of Representatives unanimously passed a resolution, sponsored by one of Kennedy's former roommates, Rep. Torbert H. Macdonald '40 (D-Mass.), to allow the Class to see the film during reunion week.

Without special permission from Congress, it may be shown only abroad. It will be one of several ways the Class honors Kennedy.
