Boston University was chosen the best hockey team in the East yesterday as the ECAC selection committee decided on the seeding order of the first seven of the eight teams that will play in next week's ECAC Tournament.
Yale will be the eighth team in the tourney if it beats Harvard tomorrow night, the committee announced, so the Eli will be out for Crimson blood.
The first seven seeded teams are:
1. Boston University
2. Boston College
3. Clarkson
3. Brown
5. Cornell
6. Northeastern
7. Dartmouth
hosting the eighth, the second hosting the
Tuesday and Wednesday the tournament begins with the first-seeded team seventh, and so on.
