SNCC Begins Drive; $2500 Fund Goal Set

The Harvard Civil Rights Coordinating Committee will begin a week-long drive today to raise funds for SNCC. Robert E. Wright, chairman of CRCC, said last night that a $2500 goal has been set for the drive.

To help raise funds, James Forman. Executive Secretary of SNCC, will speak about the organization's programs Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Burr B.

Members of CRCC will be outside all House and Radcliffe dining halls this week selling SNCC buttons, song books, and records.

In addition, a special book on the civil rights movement will be on sale. A documentary of various SNCC activities in different cities, the book has a text written by Lorraine Hansberry, author of Raisin in the Sun.
