Varsity track captain Art Croasdale and freshman sensation, Jeff Huvelle In the AAU tourney, Croasdale threw Other Crimson winners in the tournaments were Tony Lynch, Wayne Anderson, and Keith Chiappa. Lynch tied Aggrey Awori's meet record in the 45-yard hurdles with a clocking of 0:05.3; Anderson won the 50-yard dash in, 0:05.6, and Chiappa took the 600 in 1:17. Record Now 5-0 At Dartmouth the varsity stretched Other winners for the Crimson were Michael Hauck in the 600 (1:14.1), Croasdale in the weight (56 ft., 2 2/2 in.) and shot (54 ft., 11 1/2 in.), Jim Smith in the mile (4:19.1), Dave Allen in the two mile (9:51.4), and Chris Pardee in the high jump (6 ft., 8 2/2 in.). Jeff Huvelle was the standout Crimson performer. He set a University record in the freshman 600 with a clocking of 1:11.9. The unbeaten Yardlings won their meet 65-44.
