Need A Radio Station Buy WHBS for $350

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The defunct Business School radio station WHBS has been unsuccessful in finding a buyer for its equipment and will donate it to charity unless a purchaser appears this week.

The most important component of the package is a unit that transmits sound through a system of pipes such as the heating system of the Business School.

The station's equipment includes the transmitter, three turntables, an amplifier, a tape recorder, parts, and a record collection consisting of demonstration records mailed to the station. The asking price in $350.

The station was closed three years ago after a market survey conducted throughout the Business School showed that the station's listening audience was minuscule.

Anyone interested in inspecting the equipment should make an appointment through the Student Association office in Kresge.
