Robert Shenton will replace Sargent Kennedy '28 as Registrar of Harvard College and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences next July 1.

The office of the Registrar schedules classes and examinations, and keeps the academic records of past and present Harvard students.

Shenton earned A.B. and M.B.A. degrees at Stanford, and received a ph.D. in History at Harvard. Shenton worked for the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. and taught at M.I.T.

Kennedy will become Secretary to the Governing Boards of the University.
