SAVINGS PRECLUDE DEFICIT

Among the errors in your article of December 2 concerning Radcliffe's budget deficit is the statement that Radcliffe College has operated in the red for three years. It is true that we have budgeted for defits of approximately; $30,000 annually but savings during the year have resulted in small surpluses by the year's end.
