The program for yesterday's Boston Patriot game featured a two-page spread on nine Radcliffe cheerleaders-for-a-day headlined "We will even climb trees for the Patriots!"

But the hardened pro-football fans seemed unaware of the red-skirted frivolity. Can you imagine telling Verlon Biggs to "hit 'em again, harder!"?

Then the cold set in, the Jets' lead became insuperable, the drinks took their toll, and small bands of lecherous middle-aged men broke into smiles as the pompoms waved, hips swung, and carts wheeled.
