Harvard's football team leads the nation in rushing offense, according to statistics released by the NCAA this week.
In its games against Holy Cross and Tufts, the Crimson gained an average of 315 yards on the ground. This statistic is counterbalanced by Harvard's passing record -- 35 yards on six completions -- the worst in the nation.
Dartmouth leads the country in rushing defense, having held its first two opponents, New Hampshire and Holy Cross, to minus five yards. The Indians are also first in total defense; having permitted a scant 117 yards per game.
