C.P. Claims to Have Mass Youth Support

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"We are neither small nor irrelevant, as our enemies claim we are," the Boston area youth club of the Communist Party told the CRIMSON today. In a letter drafted by the club, the Communists claimed to be "the largest single group of youth in a radical organization" today.

The club recruits people who are "active and serious about their politics," and who will continue to develop after they have become members.

The Party said it plans to make democracy a reality--not just the right to vote, but the right to contribute to important decision-making. It claims that the struggle for socialism cannot be separated from the struggle for political democracy.

The text of the letter begins on page three of today's CRIMSON.
