William P. Bertusi, a first-year student in the Law School, was found dead in his Hastings Hall room yesterday afternoon by his roommate.
Bertusi, a 22-year-old Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Yale, had returned to the campus Saturday after spending the holidays at his home in LaSalle, Illinois. He had no history of poor health.
Cambridge medical examiner David C. Dow performed an autopay, but made no comment. He has asked the Harvard Medical School to make further examinations to determine the cause of death.
