The establishment of a Founder's Award to honor alumnae and benefactors of Radcliffe College was announced yesterday by Mrs. Carl J. Gilbert, acting president.

The award will be presented for the first time at the 1965 commencement. Graduates will be honored in the field of outstanding professional or artistic activity; for distinguished leadership in public affairs; for exceptional scholarly excellence; and for extra-ordnary service to the college. The fourth award may be given to a non-alumna.
